Beni Hydropower to Open IPO for General Public
Beni Hydropower Project Limited is set to open its IPO for general investors from September 7, 2026, following the allocation of shares to project-affected locals and Nepalis working abroad.
The company will issue 863,200 shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 10,000 shares. The IPO will close early on September 10 and, if extended, on September 21, 2026. The company has received an ICRA-NP Issuer Rating of [BB+], indicating moderate credit risk. It operates the 19.8 MW Upper Solukhola Hydropower Project, which has an estimated project cost of around NPR 3.86 billion. The project has a normal payback period of 5.78 years and a discounted payback period of 8.15 years. NMB Limited is the issue and sales manager. Investors can apply through the C-ASBA system via authorized banks and financial institutions or through Mero Share.
