Gold Price Drops by Rs. 2,800 per Tola, Silver Also Declines
Gold prices declined sharply in Nepal's domestic market on Monday, with the price of fine gold falling by Rs. 2,800 per tola, while silver also recorded a moderate decline.
Gold prices declined in Nepal's domestic market on Monday, with the price of fine gold dropping by Rs. 2,800 per tola to Rs. 285,200 per tola, down from Rs. 288,000 recorded in the previous trading session. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Tejabi gold also fell by Rs. 2,800 per tola, bringing its price down to Rs. 284,500 per tola from Rs. 287,300. Silver prices also moved lower alongside gold. The price of silver declined by Rs. 100 per tola, settling at Rs. 4,375 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,475 per tola on the previous trading day. The latest revision reflects a moderate correction in the domestic precious metals market.
