Nabil Bank Limited has officially commenced a nationwide skill-based training initiative aimed at fostering financial literacy and entrepreneurship among agricultural workers in rural Nepal. Launched on April 22, 2026, in Sinja, Jumla, the program is set to expand across 15 additional locations spanning six provinces within this fiscal year. Conducted in partnership with local governments, the training covers critical financial topics such as budgeting, loan management, and insurance, alongside technical vocational skills in livestock and vegetable farming. CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali emphasized that this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is designed to reduce unemployment and promote sustainable, self-reliant economic growth by empowering rural communities with the tools for modern business management and marketing.
