Gold Price Jumps by Rs. 7,200 Per Tola, Nears Rs. 291,000
Gold prices surged by Rs. 7,200 per tola on Friday, while silver also gained Rs. 165, continuing the upward trend in Nepal's bullion market.
Gold and silver prices rose sharply in the Nepali market on Friday (Ashad 19), with gold registering a significant increase of Rs. 7,200 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold climbed to Rs. 290,700 per tola, up from Rs. 283,500 per tola recorded on Thursday. Silver prices also moved higher, increasing by Rs. 165 per tola to Rs. 4,615 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,450 per tola in the previous trading session. The latest rise marks the second consecutive day of strong gains in Nepal's bullion market.
