The Constitutional Council is scheduled to meet at 5:00 PM today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to discuss appointments to several vacant constitutional bodies. The meeting comes amid the need to fill key positions that have remained vacant in various national commissions. According to Bhishma Raj Angdembe, chief whip of the main opposition party, the Nepali Congress, the primary agenda of the meeting is to recommend suitable candidates for the vacant posts. He said the official agenda circulated ahead of the meeting focuses on finalizing recommendations for appointments to the constitutional bodies.
