Gold and Silver Rates Climb in Domestic Market; Fine Gold Rises to Rs 293,200 Per Tola

The domestic bullion market experienced a moderate upward rally today, driven by fluctuations in international market trends. According to the daily rate revision published by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has escalated by Rs 1,200 per tola. With this adjustment, the benchmark precious metal is now being traded at Rs 293,200 per tola, up from Saturday’s closing rate of Rs 292,000 per tola. In tandem with the headline commodity, Tejabi gold also recorded an identical gain of Rs 1,200 per tola. Market charts indicate that the secondary tier of gold reached Rs 292,500 per tola today, contrasting with the previous session's valuation of Rs 291,300 per tola. The bullish momentum was mirrored across industrial and ornamental metals as silver also marked a standard increment. FENEGOSIDA reported a price surge of Rs 55 per tola for silver, elevating its market valuation to Rs 4,895 per tola from the preceding day's benchmark of Rs 4,840 per tola. Traders and trade body officials note that domestic pricing structures remain highly sensitive to a combination of import duties, global bullion demand, and foreign currency parity dictated by the central bank.
