    NEPSE Extends Recovery: Index Climbs 8.78 Points with Turnover Crossing Rs 4.11 Billion

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed in positive territory for the second consecutive session, gaining 8.78 points to settle at 2,661.71, driven by robust performance in the banking sector and an improved market turnover.

    NEPSE Extends Recovery: Index Climbs 8.78 Points with Turnover Crossing Rs 4.11 Billion

    The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) extended its recovery on Thursday, climbing 8.78 points (0.33%) to close at 2,661.71. This follows a sharp rebound of 44.59 points in the previous trading session, indicating a gradual return of investor confidence after a prolonged period of corrections. Opening the day at 2,659.59, the index experienced considerable intraday volatility, hitting a high of 2,662.01 and dropping to a low of 2,625.46 before stabilizing at the final close.
