The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) extended its recovery on Thursday, climbing 8.78 points (0.33%) to close at 2,661.71. This follows a sharp rebound of 44.59 points in the previous trading session, indicating a gradual return of investor confidence after a prolonged period of corrections. Opening the day at 2,659.59, the index experienced considerable intraday volatility, hitting a high of 2,662.01 and dropping to a low of 2,625.46 before stabilizing at the final close.
