Nepal Telecom (NTC) has introduced a special concession for customers with outstanding payments for its various telecommunications services. In a public notice, the state-owned telecom operator announced that it will waive 100% of late payment penalties for customers who settle their outstanding dues accumulated up to the fiscal year 2080/81. To qualify for the waiver, customers must clear their pending payments by the end of Poush 2083 BS. The company has urged eligible customers to take advantage of the offer by visiting their nearest Nepal Telecom office and completing the payment within the stipulated deadline. Nepal Telecom also warned that customers who fail to settle their outstanding dues despite the concession will face stricter recovery measures. According to the company, the names and details of defaulting customers will be published on its official website as well as in national newspapers. The telecom operator further stated that it will initiate legal recovery proceedings through public notices against customers who do not clear their dues within the specified timeframe.
