NEPSE Falls 2.01 Points as Turnover Climbs to Rs. 5.25 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by 2.01 points to close at 2,641.82 on Monday, extending its losing streak for a second consecutive session. Despite the marginal decline, market turnover rose to Rs. 5.25 Arba, with more than 11.93 million shares changing hands.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a marginal decline of 2.01 points, or 0.27%, on Monday to close at 2,641.82. The latest fall follows a 7.37-point decline in the previous trading session, keeping the benchmark index under pressure. The index opened at 2,641.84 and moved between an intraday high of 2,648.57 and a low of 2,633.37 before settling at the close. Despite the decline in the index, market activity remained strong, with total turnover reaching Rs. 5.25 Arba. A total of 11,932,035 shares of 350 listed companies were traded through 56,818 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.44 Kharba, while float market capitalization amounted to Rs. 15.32 Kharba.
