    Nepal Rastra Bank Fixes Today's Forex Rates; US Dollar at NPR 150.95 Buying and NPR 151.55 Selling

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has unveiled the official foreign exchange reference rates for Thursday. Under the latest reference schedule, the US Dollar is pegged at a buying rate of NPR 150.95, while major European currencies like the Euro and UK Pound Sterling maintain strong benchmarks at NPR 174.95 and NPR 202.36 (buying), respectively.

    The central bank of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has released the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday, establishing the baseline trading values for major global currencies. According to the central bank's daily bulletin, the buying rate for one US Dollar (USD) has been fixed at NPR 150.95, with the selling rate positioned at NPR 151.55. For high-value European currencies, the European Euro (EUR) stands at a buying price of NPR 174.95 and a selling price of NPR 175.65, while the UK Pound Sterling (GBP) commands a buying rate of NPR 202.36 and a selling rate of NPR 203.17. Among other major currencies, the Australian Dollar (AUD) is being bought at NPR 106.55 and sold at NPR 106.97, while the Canadian Dollar (CAD) holds a buying benchmark of NPR 107.71 and a selling target of NPR 108.13. The central bank noted that while these reference rates form the market standard, retail rates offered by individual commercial banks may fluctuate slightly based on open-market dynamics. NRB also maintained its standing clause that these rates are subject to real-time revisions throughout the trading day in response to extreme global volatility.
