Nabil Bank and Dhulikhel Hospital Partner to Expand Burn Care and Dialysis Services

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) and Dhulikhel Hospital have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening essential health and rehabilitation services. The agreement was signed on Monday by the bank's CEO, Manoj Kumar Gyawali, and the hospital's Administrative Director, Dr. Birajman Karmacharya. Recognizing the urgent need for accessible, quality care in Nepal- specifically for burn treatment, prosthetic rehabilitation, and dialysis—Nabil Bank has committed Rs. 60 million in financial assistance to the hospital. Under this three-year agreement, a 10-bed intensive burn care unit will be established at Dhulikhel Hospital, with plans to expand similar facilities to other provinces under the hospital's management. Additionally, the funding will support two artificial limb fitting and rehabilitation units alongside upgraded dialysis services. Expressing high hopes for the collaboration, Bank Chairman Nirvana Kumar Chaudhary, CEO Gyawali, and the hospital's Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, emphasized that this joint effort will bring meaningful life changes to thousands of patients, particularly those from poor and marginalized communities
