Bullion Alert: Gold Gains Rs. 300; Silver Drops to Rs. 4,990

The domestic precious metals market observed mixed trends on Tuesday, with gold charting a minor gain and silver experiencing a decline. As per the updates released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 300 per tola, bringing the trading rate to Rs. 298,500. This follows Monday's closing rate, where the yellow metal was valued at Rs. 298,200 per tola. Conversely, the silver market faced a correction during today's trading session. The price of silver dropped by Rs. 25 per tola, positioning its current market value at Rs. 4,990 per tola. On the preceding day, silver had changed hands at Rs. 5,015 per tola. Domestic market analysts attribute these daily price adjustments directly to the ongoing fluctuations in international bullion benchmarks.
