Supreme Wine Nepal Appoints National Capital as IPO Issue Manager

Supreme Wine Nepal Limited, a Kathmandu-based wine manufacturer, has initiated the process of issuing an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by appointing National Capital Limited as its issue and sales manager. The appointment was formalized through an agreement signed on July 30 (Shrawan 14) at National Capital's head office in Panipokhari, Kathmandu. The move marks the company's entry into Nepal's capital market as it seeks to raise funds for future expansion. Established in 2015 (BS 2071) and headquartered in Budhanilkantha-3, Kathmandu, Supreme Wine Nepal produces and markets premium and fruit wines under brands such as AKIRA and SUB MARINE. The company said it plans to utilize the IPO proceeds to expand its production capacity, strengthen brand promotion, and diversify into the agro-tourism sector as part of its long-term growth strategy. National Capital Limited, a subsidiary of National Life Insurance Company Limited, will oversee the IPO process. The company believes Nepal's wine industry has significant growth potential, with wine currently accounting for only around 1% of the country's total alcoholic beverage market despite the broader liquor industry growing by 20–25% annually.
