The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit decline on Monday, dropping 16.47 points (0.62%) to close at 2,613.33. The benchmark index opened at 2,633 and moved between an intraday high of 2,638.28 and a low of 2,605.31 during the session. Total turnover stood at Rs. 5.38 arba, with 13,178,128 shares traded across 357 companies through 58,500 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.95 kharba, while the float market capitalization stood at Rs. 15.22 kharba. Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) topped the turnover chart with transactions worth Rs. 35.82 crore, closing at Rs. 1,323. Meanwhile, 10% KBL Debenture 2090 (KBLD90) led the gainers with a 12.17% rise to Rs. 1,460, while Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) recorded the highest decline, falling 10.58% to Rs. 405.
