Gold and Silver Prices Drop Sharply in the Nepalese Market
Both gold and silver saw a significant decline in Nepal on Tuesday (Asar 8), with gold dropping by Rs. 1,600 per tola and silver falling by Rs. 140 per tola.
The Nepalese bullion market witnessed a notable downturn on Tuesday, Asar 8, as prices for both precious metals slumped. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold fell by Rs. 1,600 per tola to trade at Rs. 2,87,100, down from Monday's rate of Rs. 2,88,700. In tandem with gold, the price of silver also registered a sharp decline of Rs. 140 per tola. It is currently being traded at Rs. 4,590 per tola, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 4,730 per tola on Monday.
