Finance Minister to Hold Special Meeting with NRB Executive Directors

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to hold a special meeting with all Executive Directors of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) today to discuss the country's current financial situation, the implementation of monetary policy, and broader economic challenges. The discussion is expected to bring together senior central bank officials directly involved in executing monetary policy and overseeing the financial sector, making it one of the first meetings of its kind at the executive director level. While the Finance Ministry has regularly consulted with the NRB Governor and Deputy Governors in the past, the expanded meeting has been organized in coordination with them to incorporate the expertise of the Executive Directors. The discussion will begin at 9:15 AM at the Suvarna Hall of the Ministry of Finance, with media personnel allowed to capture photographs and videos during the opening session.
