    NEPSE Gains 7.17 Points to Close at 2,629.40; Turnover Reaches Rs. 4.40 Arba

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 7.17 points on Thursday to close at 2,629.40, reversing the marginal loss recorded in the previous session. Total turnover stood at Rs. 4.40 Arba.

    NEPSE rebounded 7.17 points to close at 2,629.40 after posting a marginal loss in the previous session. The index moved between an intraday high of 2,629.56 and a low of 2,608.38, while total turnover reached Rs. 4.40 Arba. A total of 9.50 million shares were traded across 345 companies through 47,919 transactions. MEPDL led the gainers with a 14.99% upper-circuit rise, while KDBY recorded the highest loss of 9.77%. The HydroPower Index posted the strongest sectoral gain, rising 0.99%.
