Agri Care Nepal Begins Preparations for Public IPO

Agriculture-focused company Agri Care Nepal Limited has begun preparations to issue shares to the general public through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), appointing Nepal Life Capital Limited as its institutional advisor. The two companies signed a Corporate Advisory Services agreement at Agri Care Nepal’s office in Bharatpur-4, Chitwan, with Chairman Rabin Adhikari signing on behalf of Agri Care Nepal and Chief Executive Officer Manish Ghimire representing Nepal Life Capital. Under the agreement, Nepal Life Capital will provide advisory services on determining the potential IPO size, strengthening the company’s capital structure, assessing its financial and legal status, and coordinating the necessary regulatory processes. Established in 2004, Agri Care Nepal initially focused on plant nutrition, trace elements, and quality agricultural inputs before expanding into bio-pesticides and beneficial microorganism-based products following the launch of its biotechnology unit in 2009. The company currently operates across crop protection, plant nutrition, fertilizers, soil conditioners, and bio-inputs, while also conducting farmer training programs and operating a farmer call center. Through the advisory engagement, the company plans to further organize its capital market entry and advance preparations for a potential public share issuance.
