Genesis Ventures Signs Agreement with Laxmi Sunrise Capital for 2.5 Million Units IPO

Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited and Genesis Ventures Limited have officially signed an agreement for the management of the latter's upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). According to the agreement, Laxmi Sunrise Capital will serve as the issue and sales manager for the public issuance of 2.5 million (25 lakh) units of ordinary shares to be floated by Genesis Ventures. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Bijaya Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Capital, and Anuj Rathi, Chairman of Genesis Ventures, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. With this partnership, Laxmi Sunrise Capital will oversee the entire IPO issuance process, regulatory coordination, and public sale management. Both entities have hailed this collaboration as a significant milestone toward expanding Nepal's capital market and creating fresh investment opportunities for the general public. Genesis Ventures is a private market-focused investment firm that specializes in unlisted equity opportunities, prioritizing high-growth sectors and businesses focused on long-term value creation. According to the company, the capital raised from the proposed IPO will be utilized for future strategic expansion plans, identifying new investment avenues, and business growth. This IPO is being closely watched as private equity and investment firms increasingly participate in Nepal's capital market.
