    Gold Surge: Gold and Silver Prices Jump in Nepal

    Gold prices rose sharply by Rs. 3,600 per tola in Nepal on Sunday, while silver also gained Rs. 50 per tola as precious metals continued to trade at elevated levels in the international market.

    Gold Surge: Gold and Silver Prices Jump in Nepal

    Gold and silver prices recorded a significant increase in the Nepali market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs. 3,600 per tola to reach Rs. 305,200 per tola, compared to Rs. 301,600 per tola on Friday. Silver prices also moved higher, gaining Rs. 50 per tola to reach Rs. 4,710 per tola. Silver had declined by Rs. 90 per tola on Friday to close at Rs. 4,660. The upward movement in Nepal comes as gold and silver prices remain elevated in the international market as well. According to the federation, gold was trading at around $4,376.62 per ounce, while silver stood at approximately $64.70 per ounce in the international market on Sunday.
