Nepal Micro Insurance Company Defers 3rd AGM and Book Closure

Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited (NMIC) has announced the postponement of its 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was originally scheduled to take place on Baisakh 10, 2083, at Hotel Midtown, Bharatpur, Chitwan.

The decision to delay the assembly was reached during the company's 52nd board meeting held on Baisakh 4, 2083. Management cited "special reasons" that made it impractical to move forward with the meeting on the previously announced date. As part of this decision, the company has:

    • Cancelled the initial AGM notice and put the assembly on hold.

    • Suspended the book closure that was originally set for Chaitra 26, 2082.

    • Committed to a future update, noting that a new date for both the book closure and the AGM will be announced once finalized.
