    The government led by Prime Minister Balendra "Balen" Shah has released its 100-day progress report, citing the reduction in the number of federal ministries and major policy reforms as key achievements.

    The government led by Prime Minister Balendra "Balen" Shah has made public its achievements during its first 100 days in office, highlighting a series of policy reforms and administrative restructuring measures. Speaking on behalf of the government, government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel said one of the administration's key accomplishments was reducing the number of federal ministries from 25 to 18 as part of efforts to improve governance and streamline public administration. The government claims the restructuring will save approximately Rs 20 billion annually in administrative expenses. Pokharel also highlighted the establishment of a Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation as another major achievement of the government's first 100 days, describing it as a significant step toward promoting research, technological advancement, and innovation in the country.
