ICRA Nepal Update: Positive Rating Upgrade for Pashupati Renewables

ICRA Nepal has released its latest credit assessments, reaffirming Maruti Cements Limited at an issuer rating of [ICRANP-IR] BBB. Despite the moderate safety rating, the agency has kept the company under "watch with negative implications." In contrast, Pashupati Renewables Limited saw a positive shift, with its rating upgraded from BB- to [ICRANP-IR] BB, signaling a decrease in default risk. These ratings serve as a benchmark for the companies' general credit strength rather than specific debt instruments, helping investors gauge the financial stability of these corporate entities.
