Gold and Silver Prices Plmet in Nepalese Market with Historic Drop
Gold prices plunged by a massive Rs. 10,500 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs. 305 per tola on Friday, Ashar 5.
The Nepalese bullion market witnessed a historic single-day crash on Friday, Ashar 5, as the prices of both gold and silver plummeted sharply. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold fell by a staggering Rs. 10,500 per tola, bringing the trading price down to Rs. 2,86,700, compared to Thursday’s rate of Rs. 2,97,200. In tandem with gold, silver prices also took a severe hit, diving by Rs. 305 per tola. Silver is currently being traded at Rs. 4,640 per tola, down from the Rs. 4,945 recorded on the previous day.
