    MEPDL Shares Begin Trading at Rs. 300

    Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) recorded its first share transaction at Rs. 300 per share during Wednesday’s Special Pre-Open Session on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

    Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) recorded its first share transaction at Rs. 300 per share during Wednesday’s Special Pre-Open Session on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The company’s shares had been listed on NEPSE on Shrawan 26, paving the way for its first trading session the following day. A total of 8.6 million shares of the company have been listed on NEPSE, comprising 2.58 million shares issued to the general public and 6.02 million promoter shares held by promoter shareholders. For the initial transaction, NEPSE had assigned MEPDL an opening range of Rs. 100 to Rs. 300 per share. The first transaction took place at the upper limit of the assigned range, at Rs. 300 per share, during the Special Pre-Open Session. The company’s shares will now be available for regular trading under the ticker symbol MEPDL.
