NRB Fixes Fresh Forex Rates for Monday; US Dollar Crosses Rs 152 Selling Mark

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Monday, determining new benchmarks for major global currencies. According to the central bank's update, the purchasing rate for one US Dollar has been established at Rs 151.62, while its selling rate is capped at Rs 152.22. Similarly, European currencies showed significant strength; the UK Pound Sterling stands at a buying rate of Rs 202.28 and a selling rate of Rs 203.08, while the Euro is trading at a buying price of Rs 174.68 and a selling price of Rs 175.37. The central bank noted that while these figures serve as national reference values, commercial banks retain the flexibility to offer slightly differing rates, and the central bank reserves the right to revise this schedule at any time based on international market developments.
