Non-Compliance Crackdown: Problematic Cooperatives Management Committee Exposes 132 Defaulters

In a stringent regulatory move to recover unpaid funds, the Office of the Problematic Cooperatives Management Committee has publicly disclosed a list of 132 loan defaulters associated with two troubled cooperative institutions. According to the committee, the list comprises 12 borrowers from Hamro Naya Krishi Cooperative and 120 borrowers from Krishi Bikash Multipurpose Cooperative Limited. This public disclosure follows an official decision corporate-mandated by the committee on May 6. The regulatory body has strongly advised all blacklisted individuals to immediately establish contact with the committee's office and settle their outstanding dues at the earliest. Furthermore, the committee issued a stern warning, stating that failure to clear the liabilities promptly will compel the authorities to initiate legal recovery proceedings and asset forfeiture in accordance with prevailing laws.
