    US Dollar Reaches NPR 151: Check Today's Exchange Rates for Major Currencies.

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday, April 26, 2026. The US Dollar is trading at a selling rate of Rs. 151.10, while the British Pound has surpassed Rs. 204. NRB noted that while these are official benchmarks, rates at commercial banks may vary based on market demand.

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the daily foreign exchange reference rates for today, Sunday. According to the central bank’s communiqué, the buying rate for one US Dollar has been established at Rs. 150.50, with the selling rate at Rs. 151.10. Investors and remitters should also note that the UK Pound Sterling continues to hold strong, with a selling rate of Rs. 204.04, while the European Euro is set at a selling rate of Rs. 177.07. Among other major currencies, the Canadian Dollar and Australian Dollar are trading at selling rates of Rs. 110.39 and Rs. 108.06, respectively. NRB emphasized that these rates serve as a guideline and are subject to revision at any time based on international market fluctuations. Customers are advised that commercial banks may apply slightly different rates for individual transactions, and the most current data can always be accessed via the central bank's official portal.
