Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has carried out various corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities aligned with its policy on education, health, environment, disaster management, and sustainable development.

Under its environmental initiative with the Lumbini World Peace Forum, the bank supported the plantation of 2,000 lemon saplings in Bajura on Earth Day to promote greenery, food security, and livelihoods in remote areas. It also contributed to cancer awareness programs and donated funds to Kantibal Hospital’s cancer ward.

In education and financial literacy, the bank provided educational materials to students in Banke during Global Money Week 2026 and supported the Nepal Economic Olympiad to promote responsible financial awareness among youth. It also organized financial literacy programs and outreach activities across the country through its branches.

With 103 branches nationwide and around 850,000 customers, the bank states that its CSR efforts contribute to social and economic development while strengthening access to financial services across Nepal.
