The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has reported a significant drop in precious metal prices for Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Gold prices plummeted by Rs 3,000 per tola, while silver saw a reduction of Rs 100 per tola compared to the previous day’s trading rates. Under the new pricing, fine gold is being traded at Rs 297,500 per tola, down from Monday's rate of Rs 300,500. Simultaneously, silver is priced at Rs 4,945 per tola, falling from its previous close of Rs 5,045. This substantial single-day correction marks a notable shift in the domestic market following a period of sustained price hikes.
