Bullion Surge: Gold Gains Rs 4,400 in Single-Day Trading
Gold and silver prices trended upward today, with gold hitting Rs 302,900 and silver rising to Rs 5,695.
The Nepalese bullion market witnessed a sharp rebound on Tuesday as gold prices climbed back above the psychologically significant Rs 300,000 mark. Data released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) reveals that fine gold spiked by Rs 4,400 per tola, reaching a current market rate of Rs 302,900. This follows a brief dip to Rs 298,500 in the previous session. Tejabi gold mirrored this momentum, gaining Rs 4,400 to trade at Rs 302,200. The bullish sentiment extended to the white metal as well; silver prices surged by Rs 355 per tola, bringing the spot price to Rs 5,695. Analysts attribute this volatility to shifting global economic cues and a strong domestic demand for safe-haven assets.
