Gold Prices Slide to Rs 290,500; Silver Secures Marginal Gain
Gold dropped to Rs 290,500 per tola on Wednesday, while silver rose slightly to Rs 5,080 per tola.
The domestic precious metals market saw a shift on Wednesday, with gold moving downward while silver ticked slightly higher. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold fell by Rs 1,000 per tola to trade at Rs 290,500, reversing some of Tuesday’s gains when it stood at Rs 291,500. On the flip side, silver buyers faced a minor price hike as the white metal climbed by Rs 20 per tola, closing today's session at Rs 5,080 compared to Tuesday's price of Rs 5,060.
