IPO Allotment: Apollo Hydropower Allots 10 Units Each to 78,020 Lucky Winners
Apollo Hydropower’s IPO has been allotted today, with only 78,020 lucky applicants receiving 10 shares each through a lottery.
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Apollo Hydropower Limited was officially allotted today, Friday, April 24, 2026 (Baisakh 11). The allotment process took place at the office of the issue manager, Himalayan Capital Limited. The company had offered 780,200 units of ordinary shares to the general public at a face value of Rs 100 per share, totaling Rs 78.02 million, during the subscription period held from April 8 to April 15 (Chaitra 26 to Baisakh 2). The issue saw massive oversubscription, receiving applications from a total of 2,727,117 individuals for over 29.85 million units. Due to the high demand, the shares were distributed via a lottery system. According to the final results, only 78,020 applicants were successfully allotted 10 units of shares each, while the remaining millions of applicants were left empty-handed.
