Kalinchowk Hydropower Opens at Upper Limit of Rs 300 on NEPSE
Kalinchowk Hydropower successfully executed its first NEPSE trade at the upper ceiling of Rs 300 per share on Tuesday.
Kalinchowk Hydropower Limited (KHPL) has officially commenced its equity trading on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) after successfully executing its first transaction during Tuesday's Special Pre-Open Session. The company’s share price opened at Rs 300 per share, hitting the exact upper limit of the opening range designated by the regulator. NEPSE had assigned a trading bandwidth between Rs 100 and Rs 300 based on the company's audited net worth. Initially slated to open on Monday following its listing of 5.5 million total units (4.125 million promoter and 1.375 million public shares) last Friday, the stock failed to find an equilibrium match during Monday's session. Consequently, buy and sell orders aligned perfectly on Tuesday morning under the ticker symbol KHPL, paving the way for regular continuous trading.
