Laxmi Sunrise Capital to Launch 12-Year Closed-End Fund Next Month
Laxmi Sunrise Capital announces a new 12-year closed-end mutual fund scheme worth Rs 1.20 billion, opening for public subscription on May 13 (Baisakh 30).
Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited is set to issue a new mutual fund scheme titled "LS Horizon 12" starting May 13, 2026 (Baisakh 30). Operating under the Laxmi Sunrise Mutual Fund, this is a closed-end scheme with a tenure of 12 years. The fund aims to issue 120 million units at a par value of Rs 10 per unit, totaling an investment size of Rs 1.20 billion. Out of the total units, 15% (18 million units) has been allocated as seed capital for the fund sponsor, Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited. The remaining 102 million units are being offered to the general public. Investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 12 million units. The subscription window will remain open until May 17 (Jestha 4). If not fully subscribed, the deadline may be extended to May 26 (Jestha 13). Applications can be submitted through C-ASBA certified banks and financial institutions or via the MeroShare platform. CARE Ratings Nepal has assigned a 'CARE-NP BBB+' rating to the fund sponsor and an 'AMC Quality 3+' rating to the fund manager, indicating professional management standards.
