NEPSE Continues Bearish Trend with 17.01 Point Drop
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell 0.60% today to close at 2,787.15, marking a second day of losses with a total turnover of Rs 5.09 Arba.
Selling pressure persisted in the Nepali equity market on Thursday, as the benchmark index shed 17.01 points. Despite an intraday peak of 2,817.10, the market dipped to a low of 2,779.86 before settling. Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) led the market in liquidity with a turnover of Rs 30.42 crores. While sectors like Hotels and Tourism struggled with a 1.42% decline, investors saw some bright spots as PCIL and SIPD hit the 15% positive circuit limit. On the downside, Suryakunda Hydro Electric Limited (SKHEL) was the biggest loser, dropping 11.79%.
