NEPSE to Remain Closed for Back-to-Back Public Holidays
NEPSE suspends trading for Bakra Eid and Republic Day holidays, with regular market operations resuming on Monday, Jestha 18.
The Government of Nepal has announced consecutive public holidays for today and tomorrow, Jestha 14th and 15th, in celebration of Bakra Eid and Republic Day. Consequently, the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will remain closed, suspending all regular trading activities for these two days. While Eid al-Adha (Bakra Eid) honors the values of sacrifice, compassion, and shared happiness, Republic Day marks Nepal’s historic transition into a federal democratic republic, celebrating the unity and voice of its people. Investors are advised that normal market operations will officially resume on Monday, Jestha 18, 2083, at the standard time of 11:00 AM.
