Sanima Mutual Fund Unveils Latest Closed-End Scheme

Sanima Capital has announced the issuance of its latest mutual fund scheme, Sanima Equity Fund 2, scheduled to open on May 7, 2026 (Baisakh 24). Operating under the Sanima Mutual Fund umbrella, this 10-year closed-end scheme offers 100 million units at a par value of Rs 10 per unit, totaling an issue size of Rs 1 billion. The fund allocation includes a mandatory 15% reservation for the sponsor and manager: 13 million units (13%) are secured for Sanima Bank, while 2 million units (2%) are allocated to Sanima Capital. The general public can apply for the remaining 85 million units. The subscription period is set to close on May 12 (Baisakh 29), with a potential extension to May 21 (Jestha 7) if the issue is not fully subscribed. Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 10 million units through the C-ASBA system at authorized financial institutions or via the MeroShare platform. Regarding credit assessments, CARE Rating Nepal has assigned a 'CARE-NP Single A-' rating to the fund sponsor, while ICRA Nepal has granted an 'ICRANP AMC Quality 3+' rating to the fund manager, indicating a stable professional standing.
