    The Security Printing Center has begun printing 1.7 million additional smart driving licenses following a new agreement with the Department of Transport Management.

    Massive Push to Clear Backlog: 1.7 Million New QR-Enabled Smart Driving Licenses Enter Production!

    The Security Printing Center has commenced the printing of an additional 1.7 million smart driving licenses. In the initial phase, the center had already completed and delivered 1.2 million licenses to the Department of Transport Management. An agreement for this second phase of production was signed between the Center and the Department on April 16. Moving forward, the licenses produced will also feature integrated QR codes for enhanced verification.
