    Over 11 Million Bonus Shares of NMB Bank, NIL, and Super Mai Hydropower Listed in NEPSE

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has successfully listed the newly issued bonus shares of NMB Bank Limited, Neco Insurance Limited, and Super Mai Hydropower Limited following approvals from their respective Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for the fiscal year 2081/82.

    Over 11 Million Bonus Shares of NMB Bank, NIL, and Super Mai Hydropower Listed in NEPSE

    1. NMB Bank Limited (NMB) NEPSE has listed a substantial 9,183,352.98 units of bonus shares belonging to NMB Bank Limited. The commercial bank's 30th AGM, convened on Poush 24, 2082, had approved a total 10.00% dividend package for the fiscal year 2081/82. This distribution was evenly split into a 5% bonus share issuance valued at Rs. 91.83 crores and a matching 5% cash dividend (inclusive of tax obligations) also worth Rs. 91.83 crores. The newly listed bonus units are now fully floatable, with NMB's Last Traded Price (LTP) standing at Rs. 237.90 per share.



    2. Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) For Neco Insurance Limited, a total of 807,460 units of bonus shares have entered the NEPSE trading floor. The non-life insurance provider finalized this payout during its 30th AGM on Falgun 11, 2082, where shareholders endorsed a total dividend of 15.7894% for FY 2081/82. The structure comprised a 3% allocation in bonus shares alongside a 12.7894% cash dividend intended primarily for tax and liquidity adjustments. At the close of recent transactions, NIL maintained an LTP of Rs. 620.00.


    3. Super Mai Hydropower Limited (SMH) Super Mai Hydropower Limited has successfully listed 1,070,000 units of bonus shares on the exchange. The company's 11th AGM, held on Falgun 17, 2082, ratified a combined 21.11% dividend package out of profits generated in FY 2081/82. This consisted of a 20% bonus share capitalization valued at just over Rs. 10.70 crores and a supplementary 1.11% cash dividend worth Rs. 59.27 lakhs to cover investor tax liabilities. Following the capitalization of these units, SMH holds an LTP of Rs. 545.00.
