Massive Rs 4,000 Drop: Gold Prices Sink Below the 3-Lakh Threshold

Nepali bullion market witnessed a sharp and significant contraction in the prices of precious metals. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold plummeted by Rs 4,000 per tola, settling at Rs 298,500 after having closed at Rs 302,500 the previous day. This substantial single-day decline was mirrored in the silver market, where prices dropped by Rs 355 per tola to trade at Rs 5,390. This sudden downward correction offers a notable reprieve for consumers and investors, marking a strategic shift in market valuation as prices retreated from their recent record highs.
