Citizens Bank Auction: Promoter Shares Offered at Nearly 50% Below Market Price

Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has officially opened an auction for 14,44,084.93 units of promoter shares starting today, Baisakh 7. This large-scale offering is open to the general public, firms, and institutions. The minimum bid price is set at Rs 106 per share, which represents a significant discount compared to the bank's most recent secondary market closing price of Rs 210.70. Interested parties have until Jestha 10, 2083 (35 days) to submit their sealed bids at the bank's central office in Narayanhity Path, Kathmandu. This auction provides a strategic entry point for long-term investors looking to increase their stake in the commercial banking sector at a below-market valuation.
