    Heavy Rainfall Recorded in Arghakhanchi; More Rain Expected

    Arghakhanchi’s Simalpani rainfall station recorded 58.2 mm of rain in the past hour, classified as heavy rainfall, with several provinces experiencing thunderstorms and moderate rain.

    Heavy Rainfall Recorded in Arghakhanchi; More Rain Expected

    Arghakhanchi’s Simalpani rainfall measurement station recorded 58.2 mm of rainfall within an hour, which has been classified as heavy rainfall. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds and hail is currently occurring in parts of Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim, as well as some areas of Gandaki Province and the Kathmandu Valley. The department has urged the public to remain alert as further rainfall is expected.
