During a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday, the Council of Ministers finalized four significant decisions, as shared by Government Spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel. Additionally, the Cabinet gave its nod to the 16th amendment of the Civil Service Rules, 2083. On the organizational front, the government decided to establish a nine-member ad-hoc committee for the Nepal Red Cross Society, to be chaired by Bishal Kumar Bhandari of Dolakha. Lastly, Minister Pokharel informed that the Cabinet has formally accepted the investigation report submitted by the committee formed to study and probe matters concerning former Home Minister and Member of Parliament, Sudan Gurung.
