Precious Metals Plunge: Gold Drops by Rs. 5,100 Per Tola, Silver Follows Suit
The domestic market witnessed a notable decline in precious metal prices today, with fine gold dropping by Rs. 5,100 per tola to stand at Rs. 286,700. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Tejabi gold and silver prices also recorded downward corrections in tandem with the market trend.
Gold prices in the domestic market experienced a moderate decline today, with fine gold dropping by Rs. 5,100 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has now adjusted to Rs. 286,700 per tola, down from the previous rate of Rs. 291,800 per tola. In line with this trend, Tejabi gold also saw an identical decrease of Rs. 5,100 per tola, bringing its current market value to Rs. 286,000 per tola compared to Rs. 291,100 per tola on the preceding day. Similarly, the silver market moved in the same downward direction, with its price falling by Rs. 90 per tola. This adjustment brings the price of silver to Rs. 4,650 per tola, down from its previous day's rate of Rs. 4,740 per tola.
