According to the central bank's update, the purchase rate for one US Dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.92, with the selling rate positioned at Rs 153.52. Among major European currencies, the European Euro stands at a purchase rate of Rs 176.43 and a selling rate of Rs 177.12, while the UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 204.35 and sold at Rs 205.16. For Oceania and North American currencies, the Australian Dollar has its purchase and selling rates set at Rs 106.97 and Rs 107.39 respectively, while the Canadian Dollar trades at a buying rate of Rs 109.41 and a selling rate of Rs 109.84. The central bank clarified that these rates are subject to revision at any time based on market necessities and that retail exchange rates at individual commercial banks may fluctuate from the central reference point.
