Norvic Hospital Went Public and Plans to Issue IPO

Norvic International Hospital has been converted into a public company. The company went public with the aim of providing efficient healthcare facilities in a wider range and expanding its business to a broader area. Norvic is one of the well-known hospitals in Nepal. The company’s name has been changed from “Norvic International Hospital and Medical College Pvt. Ltd”. to “Norvic International Hospital and Medical College Ltd”.

Expanding Its Services

Norvic International Hospital is expanding its services inside the valley and outside the valley. The company plans to expand 100 bedded capacity in the valley. The company is also building 100 bedded hospitals in Sunsari and Bhairahawa in the near future.

Norvic to Issue an IPO

According to Rajendra Bahadur Singh, the executive director of the Norvic hospital said the company will issue an IPO in the new future. After issuing IPO and listing in the stock exchange, the Norvic hospital will be the first hospital and medical college to be listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange. “The process may take several years but ultimately the company will issue an IPO,” said Singh. The information officer Som Nath Bastola also added that the first motive of the company was to go public to expand its business and issue an IPO to involve public investors.
