    NEPSE Rises 4.79 Points; SOHL Leads Turnover

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) ended Wednesday's trading session 4.79 points higher at 2,667.97, with Solu Hydropower Limited leading both turnover and gainers.

    NEPSE Rises 4.79 Points; SOHL Leads Turnover

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed 4.79 points, or 0.18%, higher at 2,667.97 on Wednesday, recovering from the previous session's decline of 21.15 points. The benchmark index traded between an intraday high of 2,673.12 and a low of 2,652.91, while total daily turnover reached NPR 4.40 billion with over 10.06 million shares of 350 listed companies traded through 61,286 transactions. The market's total capitalization stood at NPR 45.85 trillion, with a float market capitalization of NPR 15.48 trillion. Solu Hydropower Limited (SOHL) dominated the session, recording the highest turnover of NPR 581 million and emerging as the day's top gainer with a 14.99% rise to close at NPR 672.70. On the losing side, Everest Colour Limited (ECL) posted the steepest decline, falling 9.03% to NPR 1,575. Among sectoral indices, the Trading Index registered the largest loss of 1.31%, while the Development Bank Index recorded the smallest decline of 0.50%.
