Citizens Bank Calls 20th AGM to Approve 4% Dividend

Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has called its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposed from the bank’s profit for the previous fiscal year. The AGM will be held on Ashoj 28, 2083 (Wednesday) at Amrit Bhog, Kalikasthan, Dillibazar, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM. Among the key agendas, the AGM will approve the distribution of a 3.8% bonus share and 0.2% cash dividend for tax purposes on the bank’s current paid-up capital. The total proposed dividend stands at 4%. The meeting will also consider authorizing the Board of Directors to amend the bank’s Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association, along with the appointment of the auditor and other regular AGM agendas. The bank has fixed Ashoj 19 as the book closure date for the AGM and dividend distribution. Therefore, shareholders holding the bank’s shares until Ashoj 16 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
