Machhapuchchhre Bank Calls 28th AGM, Proposes 6% Dividend for FY 2082/83
Machhapuchchhre Bank has scheduled its 28th AGM for Ashwin 28, where shareholders will vote on a 6% dividend comprising 3% bonus shares and 3% cash dividend.
Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has called its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ashwin 28, 2083. The meeting will be held at Hotel Pokhara Grand, Pokhara, from 11:00 AM. One of the key agendas of the AGM is the approval of a 6% dividend for fiscal year 2082/83. The bank’s 564th Board of Directors meeting has proposed the dividend from its paid-up capital of Rs. 12.08 arba, consisting of 3% bonus shares and 3% cash dividend. The proposed bonus shares and cash dividend are each valued at slightly over Rs. 36.25 crore. The AGM will also consider the approval of the auditor’s report along with the profit and loss statement, financial statements, and cash flow statement for FY 2079/80, as well as the appointment of an auditor for FY 2080/81. In addition, shareholders will be asked to approve an 8.25% cash dividend of Rs. 7,45,89,041, including applicable taxes, for preference shareholders on a proportionate basis. The bank has set Ashwin 12 as the book closure date. Shareholders holding shares before the book closure will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM.
